Soo… Yeah. An update…

Because I’ve been uber lazy these days, I thought I would type up an update.

I had my PFT with Arterial Blood Draw on November 23, 2015.

Fascinating stuff y’all! Really glad I am not a claustrophobic one, because I was placed in a clear closet-like thing that resembles something a convict would be put in if they were of the Hannibal-type.

The very handsome radiologist took blood straight from my heart. It’s the same density but darker in color. Kinda gorgeous is you ask me.

And I blew. Because I was pretty much required to for the better part of 90 minutes. In and out at different levels of breathing. And with a nose pincher. It was exhausting!

Got to keep those nose pinchers as a parting gift! Oh and it was my Birthday. Happy Birthday to me!!! Hahaha!

Joanie, my transplant nurse and coordinator and I spoke a few days later and all went perfectly.

So that, I believe, ends the physical aspect of my pre-transplant testing. Onward to Psych Assessment, coming up November 30th, as well as my meeting with one of the 4 transplant surgeons that Thursday.

I’ll have to let you know how that went and what’s next later in the week.

I did have another Paracentesis in the interim. Good times as usual.

Good times. Good times. Took over 4 days to recover. Such fun.

Managed to recover by Thanksgiving, which, in and of itself, was one of the best I’ve had.

Just a happy day all around!

So that’s the update for now. Tomorrow is my psych assessment and then I hit up xrays. Hopefully Joanie can call it in so I’m not waiting all day.

We shall see.

How was your Thanksgiving week? Do tell. Hit me up in comments and like the page! Throw me a popularity bone y’all!!!

Love love love,

Until next time…
